Initial Impressions: The New Lara
Light debuted his Ps4 with the latest installment of the Tomb Raider franchise, and like the true gamer he is, called in sick for work the following day.
Unfortunately, like myself, his boss knows him too well and made it clear that he had to show up for work. However, he did get through the first couple of exciting areas and missions. There will be a follow-up to this piece, but he might have to stay late and kiss some ass after his failed ‘sick day.’
After Completion: Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition – Now that the dust has settled
For someone whose first comments to me about this game were “I like this Lara, she’s more my type. You know, she looks a little more girl next door.” Light made a 180 very quickly. From being impressed at the graphics and the story, things quickly turned sour when the character didn’t seem to develop at all.
Apparently telling him that he should have paid less attention to gathering the collectibles and more time to the main story wasn’t a helpful thing to say, but at the same time it did mean that he finished the game.
